The ascent to Mocho Volcano (2,422 masl) is a challenging high-mountain excursion within the Mocho-Choshuenco National Reserve. The route, which takes approximately 8 to 12 hours total, requires a very good physical condition and includes 4x4 transport, a walk through the forest, and progression with technical equipment (crampons and ice axe) over the Tumba del Buey glacier.
